A detailed bi-lingual Preface to Brendan Behan's brilliant play The Hostage, illustrating the literary history of Ireland, thus the Irish history as well, with a short description of the play. The writing is both in English and in Portuguese to accompany the Brazilian premičre in Săo Paulo.       A typographical design to commemorate the pioneering and successful 1931 trans-Atlantic flight of pilots Alexander Magyar and György Endresz .

The typography is in the shape of the Lockheed Sirius aircraft, giving the exact data of the flight - the date, the distance, the flight time, the starting point, place of the arrival, the prize awarded.
